Connections from Road Lot

This routine can be used to add connections across a road to stabilise its width. Typically this would be used if there is a collection of parcels fabricated from GIS data. Here the roads are long narrow “Parcels” without any connecting lines across the road. This data cannot be normally processed in the Adjustment because the road virtually severs the job.
To add connections, the user selects the road parcel with the mouse and enters the square width for the road and a distance tolerance.. The routine will look at each bend in the road and see if a computed line between the opposite corners is within tolerance of the computed secant distance.
If the corners are within tolerance, an “across road connection” will be added to each parcel on the opposite sides of the road.
